The Proteszt Association continues the "Streetart x Arta - Workshops for Children" project with two urban art sessions on September 22, at the former Arta Cinema in Timișoara (Str. Iancu Văcărescu nr. 18). This project gives children the opportunity to use graffiti sprays and brushes for mural painting under the coordination of Professor Corina Nani from the West University. The workshops are free of charge.
The project started with two sessions to introduce children to street art during the City Celebration events (August 16). Chilren do not need to have any knowledge of urban art, just a desire to explore various techniques and ways of beautifying building facades. Prof. Corina Nani will guide the children through the basics of street art, graffiti, large-scale mural painting – using the existing architecture of the former Cinema Arta. The resulting works will be exhibited at Arta and during the Hungarian Cultural Days in Timișoara.
The trainer involved in the project, associate professor Dr. Corina Nani currently teaches Graphic Design, Communication, Urban Design Aesthetics at the West University of Timișoara and coordinated the International Street Art Festival in Timișoara.
